There is also a state park there for hiking and ferry service. This home is supremely located just 25 minutes from downtown Greenville, where there is a grocery store and hospital. Rockwood also has some great dining and outdoor activity opportunities within a very short distance. After a long summer day, enjoy the use of three heat pumps in the home to keep things cool! Local activities include snowmobiling, hiking, ATV riding, hunting, fishing, skiing (Squaw Mountain is just 15 minutes away), cross country skiing, and so much more! Just a short distance from the house is the mouth of the Moose River, where it flows into Moosehead Lake.
