The homeowners remodeled the kitchen and all storage spaces to be as modernly efficient as possible.
When entering the property, the vibrant colorful design will captivate you! The open layout, 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom unit has space for friends and family to come together and enjoy the comforts of home at the beach.
The guest bedroom to the right of the entryway has two brand new queen beds with modern frames and drawer storage. The peaceful, natural designs with black-out curtain over the large window with views of La Jolla, will ensure a refreshing rest for all. Both the in-suite bathroom and bedroom door is sliding with a latch lock. But the moment you turn on the light to this guest bathroom - you are met with a surprise! The remote-controlled, luxury Toto toilet with Bidet comes alive and the toilet seat opens! Helpful when stumbling to the bathroom from a slumber. The bathroom was completely remodeled with stunning tile designs and walk-in shower with rainfall shower head and handheld hose! The large, modern shower has a safety bar, to help ease the small step in. The vanity contains storage space with bright, warm light overhead.
The custom, space-efficient built-in closet and drawers offer more storage than you would expect while optimizing the space of the bedroom. Enjoy movies and Cable from the 55 Sony Smart TV.
As you make your way out of the bedroom into the foyer, be sure to check out the book collection on the shelves below the tapestry. On the left past the front door you will find a hallway closet containing cleaning supplies, beach towels, extra bath towels and linens.
Just adjacent is the beautifully designed, modern, open California kitchen! The kitchen is fully equipped with NEW dishwasher, farm sink, custom cabinets, standard coffee maker, microwave, large separate Bosch oven, electric glass stove top with copper hood, blender, toaster, pots and pans, cooking utensils, cook and bakeware - everything you need for meals at home. You don t want to miss an opportunity for a Thanksgiving dinner here - this kitchen was designed to create a feast! Ample cupboard and pantry space, including shelves built-into the wall by the refrigerator. Speaking of - the subzero French door, built-in refrigerator has so much space! (For meals plus the holiday leftovers) An additional large freezer compartment pulls out from the bottom. Outlets circle the kitchen space underneath the cabinets to add to the efficient and space-saving flow of the design.
From the breakfast bar to the dining table, for six guests, come the delightful meals with ocean views! The dining room side lookout balcony shows views to the north of Pacific Beach, while the living room and master bedroom show the oceanfront view. If visiting during the winter months, look for the digital wall heaters in each bedroom and common space to keep the unit cozy. In the warmer months, portable fans can be found in the closets or open the sliding glass doors to that refreshing sea breeze! (It can be like a wind tunnel at times!) The NEW remote control blinds in the living space help keep the space cool when out and about in San Diego for the day.
Then it s time to relax and take it all in! The living room with its minimalist design invites tranquility with its lavender walls and comfy couches. One pulls out to a queen bed for two more guests.
Enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing just beyond, settle in with a good book, select a movie for the whole family, or sports game with the Smart Sony 55 TV with Cable. Binoculars AND telescope provided for dolphin and whale sightings!
The master bedroom, also with NEW remote control blinds, is an expansive suite with stunning ocean views. There is a new luxury king bed with drawers built into the frame. All bed frames have USB outlets built-in too! There is a dresser, additional shelves built into the wall by the door, and a 55 Sony Smart TV. The master bathroom continues with custom, built-in cabinets and laundry hamper. A sliding door built-in closet has additional storage. The tub/shower combo has a curved curtain rod to shield the tub from all sides and a rainfall shower head. A safety bar is also installed for the large - (almost knee high) step into the tub. Perfect for a relaxing bubble bath, or bath time with the kids. Just outside the master suite is a rocking chair, to lull the babes to sleep with the calming sounds of the ocean.

Capri by the Sea is just steps away from the Mission/Pacific Beach boardwalk and easy walking distance to Crystal pier, and all the shops, restaurants, and bars on both Mission Blvd and Garnet Avenue. Located on the fifth floor, the views from South Mission Beach to the La Jolla peninsula are simply breathtaking. The views have been highlighted in this unit with floor to ceiling windows that encompass every inch of the viewable space you could have from this amazing condo.
Capri by the Sea offers every amenity you could want and need for your stay in San Diego. A single parking space is included with your reservation. The rooftop offers 360 views of Pacific Beach, with BBQ grills and picnic tables and lounge seating. A heated (80 degrees) pool and hot tub are located on the ground floor behind the Capri building and are accessible with your key fob. A washer and dryer (coin-operated) are located at the South end of the hallway just outside the condo. A trash and recycling chute is located on the North end. Your key fob gives access to that condo s floor, lobby, rooftop, garage and pool area. Check-in instructions sent via email will provide more details about how to obtain your keys/lock code and fobs.

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)
It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions!
*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about our home!
Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.
Attention Guests: In addition to completing our electronic rental agreement, you will also be required to participate in our identity verification process. The service is offered through Autohost; an intelligent guest screening software that automates ID verifications, background and credit checks, security deposits and more, helping to improve guest experience and safety. Please note: for the credit card verification, a $2 hold will be placed on the card to run the report. This hold will never process and will fall off automatically within 7 days. If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.
With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a starter kit to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.
Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soaps, kitchen sponge, dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, and trash bags. In addition a Keurig coffee makers with k-cups and a standard coffee maker, linens and towels, extra blankets, extra pillows, extra sheets for sleeper sofas, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with extra settings, toaster, blender, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, smoke/carbon monoxide detectors.
While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.
In addition, most of our properties have House Manuals detailing specific information about the property, amenities and responsibilities. Not to mention an awesome section on attractions, events, restaurants and more to help guide you during your stay in San Diego!

Please note: The look-out terraces at the Capri are NOT for standing or sitting. DO NOT lean on the railings. Capri by the Sea has asked for our cooperation in their new safety proceedings. The incredible views of the beach, boardwalk and ocean are not affected!

Holiday 2023 Policy:
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 16-January 2). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year s Day.

Summer 2024 Policy:
Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.
Last Minute Booking Policy:
If a guest books with us directly or on any OTA such as Airbnb and VRBO, within 72 hours of arrival, verification credentials are required. By making a payment on the reservation, the guest agrees to comply with our last minute booking policy.
To properly vet a guest with such short notice requires the following; a photo specifically of the booking guest s face and holding either a Driver s License, Passport or State ID photo under their chin. We are just looking for a name to match and the photo on the ID to match that of the person in the selfie. This can be sent by email or text to our company email address. Additionally, we need to confirm guest details such as, payment, contact information, applicable check-in time, number of guests and ages, any pets, etc.
This process is required, and if a guest refuses to comply then the reservation will be canceled. We have found this procedure to be successful in avoiding fraud, and protecting all parties! We appreciate your cooperation and we are available to help with any questions.
Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season except for last minute bookings and shorter vacancy periods.
6 night AND a Saturday Check-in is REQUIRED during peak season (June - August). Arrival on Friday or Sunday instead may be an option.

Check in time is 3 pm and strictly enforced. (From Memorial Day through Labor Day, check-in is at 4pm)
Check out time is 11 am.
Please follow all instructions for your arrival and departure in our email and phone call correspondence. There is signage around the home to assist with the use of amenities and questions that you may have during your stay. We are available too, even after hours-give us a call!
